Vanishing African Eden
is a high definition presentation based on 12 photographic expeditions to Kenya and Tanzania. The show's main focus is on elephants, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, and rhinos. Many smaller animals and birds are also described in compelling vignettes. The animals are shown in vivid detail as they struggle to survive in a wide variety of habitats from lush mountain forests to arid scrubland. The program has music, sound effects, and a complete narration which explains many fascination details about the animals' behavior. The discussion following the presentation often centers on the status of endangered species throughout the world.
